Secures doors with lever type door handles

This lever lock works by stopping rotation of the lever handle by using the door jamb. It is designed so that a child will not be able to open door by rotating handle downward from either side of door. Small children have insufficient means to open door when rotating handles upward. An adult opens the door by activating a safety release and rotating handle upward. 2-Pack. Works on Defiant, Gainsborough, Schlage, Society Brass, Weiser Lock and Weslock door locks.
