They are easy to put on and actually stay on. These soft-soled infant and toddler shoes come packaged in a signature purple and gold keepsake box. They make the perfect baby gift for expectant moms, holidays, baby showers and other special occasions.
Pediatricians now recommend that children up to two years of age go barefoot (when practical and safe) or wear lightweight, flexible footwear. This enables childrens feet to grow naturally and to develop musculature and strength. A soft-soled shoe also enables them to sense the ground beneath their feet and to grasp with their toes as they learn how to walk.

Flex Fit System - pediped Flex™ offer a unique fit system. Each pair comes with an additional 2mm insole to customize the fit so it just right for each child. If the child starts with both insoles, as the childs feet grow the additional insoles may be removed to extend the length of time the child can wear the shoes.

To determine the best size and fit for pediped Flex™, we do not suggest purchase based merely on the length of your childs feet. Unlike pediped Originals™, Flex is a rubber soled line for older children with more developed feet, in which the volume (girth) of your childs feet can alter their fit.
