Wrist Splint

Description

Indications for Use:

• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
• Mild to moderate sprains and strains
• Minor hairline fractures
• Repetitive motion injuries or stresses
• Soft tissue injuries
• Following cast removal

Features and Benefits:

• Wrist splint measures 8 inches (20.3cm) from top to bottom
• For adolescents and small to medium sized women choose style 1082 which measures 6 inches (15.2cm) (shown below)
• For the larger individual choose style 1079 (SPECIAL ORDER ONLY) which measures 10 inches (25.4)
• Lightweight foam glove with separate cinch fasteners provides support and compression to help relieve swelling and minimize pain
• Pre-shaped metal splint holds the wrist in a position to promote healing

Hot and cold gel pad flexible therapy:

• Allows user to continue hot and cold therapy at home, office, or away, accomplishing a more speedy recovery.
• Simply remove gel pad from semi-rigid plastic portion of the support and place in freezer or a microwave oven.
• Gel pad reaches maximum cold point within one hour.
• When heating simply put on low for 20 second intervals until desired temperature is obtained.

Care:

• Fasten all closures
• Hand wash support in cold water with a mild soap.
• Rinse brace thoroughly until water is clear.
• Wrap wrist support in towel to remove excess water.
• Air dry away from heat. (Do not twist or wring.)
• Do not tumble dry wrist support.
• Do not bleach wrist brace.
